AFC Media Release 77/2019: Five AFC Vice Presidents confirmed

MEDIA RELEASE April 06, 2019 #77/2019   Five AFC Vice Presidents confirmed   The 29th Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Congress has elected in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia today the AFC Vice Presidents from each of the five AFC zones who will serve for the next four-year term (2019-2023). Mr. Saoud A. Aziz M A Al-Mohannadi (Qatar) was re-elected by acclamation for another four-year term for the West Zone. Joining him are three new Vice Presidents who also confirmed their places by acclamation - Mr. Mehdi Taj (Islamic Republic of Iran) for the Central Zone, Mr. Zaw Zaw (Myanmar) for ASEAN and Mr. Makhdoom Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat (Pakistan) for the South Zone. Meanwhile, Mr. Ganbaatar Amgalanbaatar (Mongolia) was elected as the new AFC Vice President for the East Zone.
