#42/2019 Spectacular musicians from Korea Republic draw the crowds at the
AFC Asian Cup Fan Zone It was the busiest night yet yesterday at the AFC Asian Cup fan zone in Abu Dhabi as a group of traditional Korean musicians drew a large crowd to the beach side location with a spectacularly rhythmic and high-tempo performance. Against the backdrop of live football, five musicians took to the stage to play a wide variety of conventional Korean percussion instruments including a selection of leather drums, with the group's leader also singing to create a celebratory atmosphere. The performance, which is part of the AFC Asian Cup's cultural programme, delighted the public and a group of football supporters who had gathered on the comfy bean bags, with many also choosing to take part in the various football activations that have been constructed for the tournament, like human table football, football darts and more. Speaking following the performance the group's leader Kim Ju-hong said: "We are so happy to be gathered here today with so many friends and football lovers who love Korean music and culture. It's great to perform in such a different place here on the beach in Abu Dhabi and we hope all those who came enjoyed the show."
